This morning, in District of Columbia vs. Heller, The Supreme Court held:
The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditional lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.

First Lieutenant Andrew A. Grayson acquitted!
Posted in Iraq, Marines on June 5, 2008 | Leave a Comment »
Yesterday, Marine 1st Lt. Grayson was acquitted of charges in the Haditha cover-up case.
Grayson’s attorney, Joseph Casas, said he believed the verdict could influence pending prosecutions.
“I think it sets the tone for the overall whirlwind Haditha has been. It’s been a botched investigation from the get-go,” he said. “I believe in the end all of [...]

As most of you know, Gershwin saw the orthopedic surgeon on Tuesday and opted for surgery to have a plate inserted in his arm rather than to have a cast. The surgery was yesterday and went extremely well. There’s no nerve damage, which was a possibility with surgery on this type of [...]
