Welcome home Bozik Family!

Yeah, I watch too much Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  This story, though, isn’t about that show.  This story is about veterans, volunteers, Operation Coming Home, Blackhawks, and the U.S. Army Special Operations Command Parachute Demonstration Team, The Black Daggers, coming together to build a home for Joey and Jayme Bozik.  Bob Owens at Confederate Yankee has the details, pictures, and links.  In particular, check out the video at the WRAL link.  Today, October 27th, is Joey’s “Alive Day” — the day he awoke from a coma after losing both legs and an arm in Iraq in 2004.
